I often have people asking me how much time they should devote to their social media and online presence.

When I started with this Social Media journey I advised many of my clients to get their own copies of Facebook for Dummies…. Since then Facebook has updated about 5 times, which today was another!  "When you give everyone a voice, and give everyone power, the system usually ends up in a really good place" ~ Mark Zuckerberg (Founder of Facebook)  Facebook was created by Mark Zackenburg in 2004. It started as a university network for Harvard and grew to other Universities connecting more and more people nationally, and eventually globally. As human beings, we enjoy social media because it satisfies our need to feel connected. By sharing our thoughts and giving our opinions we feel valued and appreciated. Social Media is a quick way to enhance your knowledge on diverse topics and can serve as a meaningful diversion after a long day. Social media is thus an extension of our needs, helping us to achieve a greater meaning in our lives.  |
