"Melien, when I create a blog it offers me the opportunity to share the blog on FB and Tw. Can you add Ln?
I prefer to add it hanging off the window on the right to help with the reading from left-to-right action and to finish it with a share, hopefully. With mobile sites taking a more prominent role this share button will eventually move to the bottom of the page but currently we are still waiting for sharethis.net to finish their development on this to work with responsive websites.
For time management to reach multiple social media platforms this button really makes it easy and quick, Kudos to Sharethis.net for an AMAZING and FREE button!
Also note that we have External Shares (A) via your website to social Sites and we have Internal Shares (B) happening within the Social Media platform where other's are sharing your postings helping them to go viral.
So you use your External Share button (A) on your website to 'share' content from your website to social media sites. Unfortunately all has to be done done separately and manually. Yes you can use an application such a Hootsuite but again this WILL NOT work as well if you would like to get the most out of your Social Media Fuel.
Doing it manually as you can add specific #tags working on twitter if you are feeding and changing the words to be related to the audience especially when pushing to groups are crucial.
Facebook has the best developed share interface so I use them as the example as G+ and Ln are still getting their ducks in a row. On Facebook content can be shared to your Human Page (timeline), A Friends Page, in a Group, Your Business Page and in a Private message.
When you use your sharing button to share to other sites it might be a bit more limited, depending on their development....
Google Plus shares to ONLY the Human Page Linkedin shares to Human Page, to Groups and to individuals NOT the Business page Twitter (don't worry about this one as we feed it and will talk about it at the end)
Here is a nice visual image to explain the audiences you can reach via the specific platforms at this time. Hopefully soon the ones with a red square will get up-to-date. Also this example is posting via your desktop computer in a browser.
Lastly when we feed accounts we are giving a specific social platform permission to access another. Facebook can be fed to Twitter by authorizing the application at www.facebook.com/twitter. We used to be able to also automatically feed postings from FB - Tw - Ln but Linkedin stopped allowing it in 2013.
On Linkedin you need to add your Twitter info when editing your profile, then allow the application to be authorized. When posting on Ln look for the NEW check box on the right asking if you want to share this posting to Tw as well. As far as I know this will show if you have authorized your Twitter App via Linkedin. Also remember to share to Ln groups. When you now include #tag in your postings, you can leverage Twitter for additional leads without having to share anything to it.
So this is what we are able to 'feed' for easy time management and these are programmed in advance.
FB - Tw (programmed) Ln - Tw (programmed but need to indicate)
